Heading out to ride your ATV in your favorite trail? And dreading the idea of having to haul, lug your ATV to the destination. Oh yeah... we know the story alright. If you're new to ATV riding and is all geared up and excited about the prospect of hitting the trail but not too happy with the thought of bringing your quad for the ride, why not use quad rental service for the trip.
I mean, it's one of the most convenient things to do, right? I know you're going to have to get used to the ATV you rented and not everyone likes to ride a quad that probably hundreds of people have rented and rode on, but hey, if you want to make your trip simple without the hassle and trouble of bringing your own machine to the trail, rent one.
I've personally rented ATVs from many quad rental shops because I ride the trails all the time and frankly speaking, renting an quad from an ATV rental shop is not such a bad idea. It isn't cheap and it's not easy trying to get used to the vehicle but it's still better than nothing. If I feel good and want to ride my own ATV for the trip, I lug it. If I don't, I lug it.
There are some things to be done when you're renting a quad for your trip. One, you have to rent an ATV similar to what you're riding. No point suffering because the vehicle is not something you're used to. You'll have to spend a considerable number of hours trying to get used to the quad! Two, check if the rented ATV is safe! VERY IMPORTANT. Take it for a test drive before renting it off the rental shop. I mean, we're talking about your life here. This is more so important if you're renting kids' quads, so, please check that everything's in proper working order before agreeing to rent it. Every track and trail is different and requires different types of vehicle, so, before renting the ATV, ask the shop owner or the sales person if the quad is suitable for the type of terrain you're going to be riding on if you're not sure. Don't take the chance. The tires will also be different but in this case, just ask the sales person to chance the parts needed to be changed before renting it.
Check the fineprints and details about returning it, default clauses, etc before you sign anything. Very important too unless you like surprises. I've had quite a few surprises sprung on me over the many years of renting ATVs for my rides.
Well, being the great guy that I am, I've decided to list down a couple of ATV rental sites here just to point you in the right direction. While I won't personally vouch for the kind of ATVs and machines that they rent out because I can't control that but I do vouch for their professionalism and top-notch service.
So, check the out since they might come in handy in the future.
